SW Hire - Cereals debut

SW Machinery Hire Ltd made their debut at Cereals this year.

Wiltshire based company SW Hire made their first appearance at the arable event, held at Thoresby Estate in Nottinghamshire for the first time. Specialising in agricultural and plant machinery, SW Hire exhibited a mix of both on their stand. Although they’re based in Chippenham, Wiltshire, the company provides short- and long-term hire nationwide in the UK.

Visitors could see a new 14 tonne Richard Western grain trailer, 542.70 JCB telehandler, brand new JCB 4220 icon Fastrac and a 3t Takeuchi excavator. This was only a very small taster of what the company has. In addition to various sizes of trailers, telehandlers and excavators, SW Hire also offers muckspreaders, tankers, hedgecutters dust suppression bowsers and a fleet of John Deere tractors, ranging from 100-400hp.

The company flooded the show with their vibrant green and blue sunglasses which drew the public to their stand. Following the show, Director Simon Williams said: “It was great to meet with new potential customers about the benefits of hiring machinery and the needs of each induvial. It was also great to see familiar faces from home, but to have an opportunity to meet our customers, whom we haven’t met face-to face before”.

Since the event, the company has had lots of enquiries about Fastrac hire, which is well timed with the arrival of 5 new JCB Fastrac 4220 icons.
