Monthly summary: June

On the lead-up to harvest, our machinery has been busy at shows and festivals throughout June.

The main event us here at SW Hire in June was our debut at Cereals: The Arable Event – you can find a feature of this here. We had a successful first show and we are already looking at booking again for next year...

Related to shows, we’ve had a JCB 542.70 telehandler giving a helping hand at the Royal Bath and West Show and had 22 tractors helping at Glastonbury Festival with the clean up! Our machinery has also been at the Bishops Cannings Cricket Club Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot supporting our sponsorship. Furthermore, we had a couple of tractors at Brymore Academy for their open day for pupils and their families to look around.

In terms of new machinery, we’ve had over 20 new machines join the fleet:

• TM420s from G & J Peck ltd
• 2x Bailey Trailers people carrying trailers.
• 2x Bailey flatbed trailers
• 2x 6R 130 John Deere tractors from Hunt Forest Group
• 2x 18t Richard Western Suffolk silage trailers
• 2x 20T JPM TRAILERS LTD dump trailers
• A 9t Takeuchi UK excavator from RJ & KD Mclean Ltd
