Monthly Summary: April 2026

April has been a busy month across the farming sector, with first cut wrapped up and maize drilling now well underway. Tractors have been out ploughing, planting potatoes and muckspreading, while new machinery has continued arriving as we gear up for the busiest months of the farming calendar.
First cut of silage was well underway through April, and our trailers were part of the action.
First cut silage was in full swing throughout April, with our trailers hard at work across a range of operations. One customer recently hired a pair of 18-tonne silage trailers to support their existing fleet — which also happens to include our ex-hire trailers still working reliably on farm.
Muckspreaders were among our highest-demand machines during the month, as farmers across the country focused on clearing FYM from winter housing and preparing ground ahead of maize planting.
We offer a choice of:
For semi-solids, sludge and slurry, the side discharge spreaders are the ideal choice due to their high.
For general farmyard manure and compost, the rear discharge models deliver excellent output and a consistent spread pattern. Fitted with rear canopies, they are particularly well suited to finer materials such as compost and chicken manure.
New machinery arrivals
The end of April has welcomed plenty of new machinery arriving ready for peak season demand. Tractors, trailers and telehandlers have made their way into the yard, before heading back out for their hires.
