After a busy June preparing machinery for Cereals and Glastonbury Music Festival, the team are looking forward to harvest preparations as we move into July.
The most notable event during June was our attendance at Cereals 2024. After a successful debut at the show in 2023, we expanded our plot size for the 2024 site in Hertfordshire. Despite the rain showers on day 1 and the unfavourably cold weather, we had a great number of enquiries from new prospective customers. Attending shows also gives us the opportunity to meet our existing customers, many of whom we have delt with for numerous years, but never had the opportunity to meet them in person.
With interest in grain trailers over harvest, ranging from 14 to 20 tonne with optional rollover sheets, we had a lot of discussions about additional trailers and tractors for relief over this harvest in addition to 2025 planning.

Off the back of Cereals, two of our machines headed straight from site to Suffolk, to support Suffolk YFC with their Muck Move Event. Over three days the team managed to move 3,600 tonnes, raising £9,000 to put back into their county pot! The 532-70 and 14t trailer were returned sparkling clean.
Our Managing Director Simon took undertook some maintenance work around the main road junction, clearing the overgrown verge with the McConnel PA6567 Hedgecutter. With a 6.5m telescopic reach, the flail-head hedgecutters are a great and versatile option for trimming both verges and hedges; with an extendable arm and rotating head, they can access trickier areas than a standard topper.
