We’ve been getting ready for the 2025 season, with lots of new machinery arriving.
Favourable weather throughout March has prompted Farmers to get onto the ground to spread muck. Both the rear and side discharge models have been extremely busy; even heading over to Kent.
We took the opportunity to visit two side spreaders working with a local contractor & film some new content. Working in tandem, the Richard Western Side Discharge Muckspreaders maximised their ground coverage.
A couple of our machines have been assisting Piccadilly Caravan Park with their renovations ahead of their opening for the 2025 season.
An excavator has been creating the foundations for a new reception & shower block (after the dismantling of the older building) and creating an additional 4 hardstanding pitches.
A telehandler was on-hand to move the new buildings into the site, with the help with some additional manpower from SW Hire. With the four-wheel and crab-steering, the team managed to manoeuvre the 45ft buildings around tight turns, fences and hedges.
Following the sale of our 2023 machines, this month we’ve been receiving new stock of telehandlers and muckspreaders, ready to meet demand.

After arriving in our yard, the new Fastrac was sent out on a hire for a few months, just North of Manchester.
Another Fastrac was dropped in Berkshire on the way to taking a telehandler for hire in Suffolk.
A new 25-plate 536-96 telehandler was sent over to Berkshire hire.
