SW Hire - Monthly Summary: November 2024

Monthly Summary: November

As the second-to-last month of 2024 finishes, our machinery continues to head out on hire across the country.

We started November at the Southern Counties Farming and Machinery Show at Newbury Showground. Over the 1-day event, we spoke with both new and existing customers, some of whom have purchased ex-hire machinery from us before and are looking to buy another of our tractors which is on the list of upcoming machinery for sale.

We noticed an increase in long-term hire enquiries over the show – with people enquiring about the options of replacing or upgrading their current farm machinery with longer-term hire machine. Why consider long-term hire?

Servicing is included in the hire cost.

One desirable feature of our hire service is the on-going maintenance of our machines. With servicing included in your hire cost, we take off the pressure of funding the maintenance for your hire machine.

New machinery!

Our entire fleet has an average age of under 18-months, meaning our customers get the newest machinery on the market. For customers with long-term contracts, their machines are swapped out for newer models.

Flexible contracts.

For the harvest period, 9 months or 3 years, we tailor our hire contracts individually to suit our customers needs, whilst offering the best rates.

Standing with British Farmers

On November 19th, when Farmers descended upon Whitehall in protest of the new Inheritance Tax, we stood in our wellies, as a show of support for British Farmers.
